GIMA S.p.A. has set up a reporting channel through an online application for individuals wishing to report any of the unlawful conduct outlined in the Legislative Decree. 24/2023:
METHODS OF REPORTING

This ensures that no trace of access to the reporting channel will remain on our website.
Once logged in, the whistleblower will be guided through the completion of a questionnaire consisting of open and/or closed questions, aimed at collecting key elements of the report (facts, timeframe, etc.).
During the reporting process, the whistleblower may choose to disclose their identity or remain anonymous. If anonymity is initially chosen, personal details may still be provided at a later stage.
Immediately after submission, the application will generate a unique identification code and a password.
It is essential to write down or securely save these credentials, as they cannot be recovered if lost.
These credentials allow the whistleblower to access their report via the portal to monitor its progress, add further information, disclose their identity, or respond to any requests from the Supervisory Body.
WHO MANAGES THE REPORT
The reports can only be viewed by the Supervisory Body of GIMA S.p.A., established in accordance with Legislative Decree 231/2001. This body is entrusted with the task of managing and processing the reports, ensuring full confidentiality and compliance with legal requirements.
WHISTLEBLOWER PROTECTION AND RESPONIBILITIES
The application is equipped with security measures designed to ensure the confidentiality of both the whistleblower and the reports. The Supervisory Body, entrusted with managing the reports, is an independent and autonomous entity that is bound by confidentiality regarding the whistleblower’s identity.
No retaliation or discrimination, either direct or indirect, can occur against someone who has made a report in good faith.
However, those who deliberately make false or baseless reports with the intent to harm others may be reported to the judicial authorities.
PROTECTION OF THE REPORTED PERSON
A report alone is not sufficient to initiate any disciplinary proceedings against the reported individual. If the reported conduct is substantiated with sufficient evidence, the company may decide to open a disciplinary procedure against the alleged perpetrators of the unlawful behavior. In such cases, the individuals involved will be contacted and will be guaranteed the right to defend themselves during the process.
PRIVACY
Any personal and sensitive data contained in the report, including those related to the identity of the whistleblower or other individuals, will be processed in full compliance with both national and European data protection laws.
