A father, Leandro Montanari, who was capable to devolve the passion for metalworking to his sons, Giansante and Mauro, whom founded the first workshop in Castelfidardo, Ancona. Since then, thanks to a diligent market strategy and to constant investments, Gima Spa achieved big market segments in turning metalworking, shoe lasts accessories, sheet metal stamping and die making.
Growing brings expansion, not only in personnel, but also in machine fleet and facilities. For this reason, since 1996, GIma Spa moved to a 8.000 square meters plant and, 3 years later, becomes a limited liability company.
Today, the company operates on a total area of 20.000 square meters, equipped only with the best machines, which are managed by an advanced information technolgy service.

Gima Spa is also capable to support his customers for sheet metal cutting and stamping, which includes operations like deep drawing, folding, coining. The sheet metal department is also equipped with a high qualified engineering office and a workshop for tooling construction like progressive dies, transfer dies, single block dies. The stamping die designing and construction is supported by the most recent and best featured CAD-CAM software.
